COZULO Community Guidelines
Released: [06/01/2025]
Effective: [06/01/2025]
COZULO is built to give people and communities a trusted place to share serious matters responsibly. Whether you are reporting an incident, posting a missing item, raising a community concern, or sharing important local updates, our shared responsibility is to keep COZULO safe, respectful, and trustworthy.
These guidelines outline what is expected, what is not allowed, and how we enforce rules to protect everyone’s dignity and security.
I. Guiding Principles
Prevent Harm
Safety is COZULO’s highest priority. We address physical, psychological, financial, and privacy-related harms.
Harmful content is restricted or removed, but we do so proportionately to minimize unnecessary limits on expression.
Responsible Expression
COZULO encourages honest and accurate sharing.
Free expression is respected, but not when it risks harm, spreads false information, or intimidates others.
Civility and Respect
Conduct yourself as if you were speaking face-to-face.
Criticism is allowed, but harassment, bullying, or degrading others is not.
Context Matters
We respect cultural and legal differences across regions while upholding universal rights to dignity and safety.
Inclusion and Equality
COZULO welcomes diverse backgrounds, identities, and perspectives.
We actively protect against harms that disproportionately affect marginalized or vulnerable groups.
Privacy Protection
Sharing of personal or sensitive data without consent (doxxing, stalking, blackmail) is prohibited.
Reports should focus on incidents, not exposing individuals’ private details.
Fairness and Transparency
Rules are applied consistently.
We provide notice when enforcement actions are taken, and allow appeals where possible.
Accountability
Moderation is impartial, evidence-based, and designed to strengthen community trust.
